Lesson 5 Proquest
I did a basic search on preschool storytelling. It took me to an article about software for storytelling. Reading aloud to children increases comfort with words and stories. It also adds to extensive vocabualry and better comphrehension. Computers can never replace a book. Software used for storytelling helps interact with the characters in a story and helps children create their own stories.
I looked at lucky mom's blog. She had a very specific topic, Teachscape. She shared more specific information than I did. My topic was so general and actually it was preschool story telling. It brought up a varied amount of topics to choose from.
From the publications tab I typed Librarian. It brough up 2 Publications Distant Librarian with full text articles form July 21, 2009-present. Teacher Librarian with Nov/Dec. 1996- present with full text articles was the other publication. I went to one publication and viewed the articles. I didn't read any of the articles but it was fun seeing all the article titles.
I am enjoying my time spent on the challenge electronic resources, unfortunately, I have not had time to view other blogs. This is the first time I have done a class like this and it has been fun. I am still trying to catch up on my assignment. It is time for lesson 6.
Your article sounds fabulous! Proquest can be very useful for professional development or for finding info to help support your work projects!
